What are bum bags or belted bags?
Originally, the pouch of the bum bag was positioned at the front of the body to protect the contents. Used in a variety of cultures over many years, the modern version is usually made from synthetic fabric for repeated use. Popular in the 80s, the bum bag declined in favour and then rose again most recently to take place in designer labels portfolios. Often worn across the body instead of around the waist to carry mobile phones, charging cables and batteries, the belt bag offers branding estate on the pouch and straps for repeated exposure.
