Where Style Meets Function

Published by Steve Hill on

Here at Wurlin, we see no reason why the functional shouldn’t be beautiful. Remember those lovely old Singer sewing machines? The vintage variety are embellished with gorgeous painted and embossed or engraved designs like works of art, but were ultimately solid pieces of kit and classic style design pieces now. Whilst we can’t take credit for all the design work that goes into all our products all of the time (as there’s always the option to supply your own artwork) we can certainly play a leading part in helping you create the most attractive and effective products possible.

There was no practical reason why Singer sewing machines were so decorative but it only made them more popular. That’s one of the reasons that our clients appreciate the option to customise our items by incorporating features like silicon handles into bespoke umbrellas and genuine leather straps into bespoke bags. Of course, the decision to enhance any design with little flourishes like these also says something about the brand itself. If you’re going to print your logo on an item and send it out into the world, you want to make sure it accurately reflects the business and will effectively recommend you to potential clients. Depending on your offering, a basic printed pen might not be the best tool in the box.

In which case, a fine bone china custom-made Pantone matched mug complete with banding and gilding might be more appropriate (and cost-effective too if it means your mug will truly be appreciated by its intended recipient). Get in touch to discuss your requirements.
